The options and combinations on the Excursion are Limited (LOL). I would suggest seeing if you can find someone with a bench seat pickup that wants the leather buckets. You also might check out some of the customizing/conversion shops, they often order bench seat vehicles because they build the entire interior. You might also try a wrecking yard.

Adding the overhead console w/trip computer from an Excursion/Explorer has been done by some of the guys with Super Duty pickups, you might try some searches. Ditto for adding the skin from the Excursion lighted running boards. The cladding can be added, it will soon be available in platinum on XLT Excursions.

My guess, is it makes the most sense to get an Excursion Ltd, and then trade down the leather buckets and floor console for a bench, you might find a dealer flexible enough to work with you on this, or ask about it in a forum here on F-D.com. Good Luck!

I'm getting ready for a 2001 Excursion. I currently own a 2K f-250 psd crewcab 4x4, Lariat, w/40/20/40 bench seat. I love the bench seat and want it in the excursion. That eliminates the LTD---at carsdirect.com, when I tried to order the xlt w/bench seat, it won't let me get the package with the overhead trip computer, lighted running boards, and a few other things in that package. So---what would you guys reccommend? Is there a way to get the bench seat, add the leather after-market, and still get all those other conveniences, or should I just learn to do without the bench seat??
