new Excursion wheels/tires

Looking to order a new Excursion Limited 4x4 6.0PSD. Was looking to put bigger rubber and wheels on it. Really want to fill wheel wells and have very wide tire...not necessarily tall. Many times I have heard people speak of using 285/75-16 rubber (BFG KO's) and it fitting no problem and actually helping to correct speedo error inherit in truck (3mph low stock reading).

If so any thoughts on using a new set of Nitto Terra Grapplers in
LT325/60R18 mounted on Weld F1 Cheyenne 8 wheels in 18x10.

If you check the size comparison the 285's and the 325's are within
1/2" of being the same diameter. The 325's are just about 2" wider which is what I really want...not tall just wide.

I ran 305/70-16's on my last X but it had a lift kit etc...most I would want to do with this is put in a leveling kit 1.5"-2" max on front. Any thoughts opinions on clearence etc.

Size diameter width
LT265/75-16 31.54 10.75 Stock size

LT285/75-16 32.68 11.33 better

LT325/60-18 32.99 12.83 best?

Thanks to all the techs for help on this...too expensive and option to order and find its flawed

Re: new Excursion wheels/tires

I had on my Ex (2WD - no lift) some nitto nt404's, 315/60/18 on 18x10's (stock offset - 6.25" backspace) Boyd poseidons. The nittos were 32.6" tall, and 13" wide at the sidewall mounted. Almost as big as the Terra Grappler 325/60/18 (They have a flatter, blockier tread section)
Fit with no issues, so the Terra grapplers on a 18x8 to 18x10 would be great. Just keep the offset close, lots of the welds and others have a 10-15mmm offset (stock is 25mm), that's what you want, around 5.5" of backspace.
