New to me 03 EB 7.3 2WD .........what next

Details: 2003 Eddie Bauer X 55,000 miles 2WD

I dont get it for a couple weeks (it's coming from CA) so I need to plan some mods. It will be my daily driver. I am mainly interested in longevity and mileage. I know it will need tires soon any recomendations?

I like doing a 203 degree thermostat and Evans NPG+ coolant in my PSD's. I'll be putting a coolant filter on my new to me Excursion that I never used on my E350.

I don't have any big plans for air boxes or exhaust. I did do a DP Tuner though.

Replaced all of the drive line fluids with synthetics. Will probably replace the shocks with Bilsteins.

Tires? I'm kind of a Michelin guy. Might go to a 235/85 for a smaller contact patch with the ground.

Will be installing a pyrometer too. Had that for my E350 too. If you can keep the temps under 600, I understand you can get better economy also.

Hopefully, that gives you some ideas.
