Re: new mirrors/headlights
I have monitored many posts about the 2002up jewel headlights on the SuperDutys and Excursions. I do not remember one, that said they actually gave better illumination than the earlier lights.
Most are doing it for appearance.
As to your tow mirrors, there are many topics about that (do some searching in this forum and in the Super Duty mods), but keep in mind that you probably will want heated mirrors, and you might want the 2003 up style with running lights and turn signals as well, and at least the 2002 style that fold forward. All mirrors used on Excursions have power adjustable main glass.
I have tried converting my 2000 mirrors into fold forward style by getting close to a garage door opening and then backing up, but it did not turn out like I had hoped
NONE OF YOU OLD DOGS BETTER ASK FOR pics EITHER
