New Motor updates for the 2005?

I happened to notice that the 2005 Superduty is recieving a boost in horsepower on both the diesel and the gas engines as well as recieving the 5 speed torqueshift with either engine.

Does that hold true for the Excursion and what are the spec's on the engines for 2005?

Re: New Motor updates for the 2005?

It's suppose to up 10lb ft of torque but there's been no explanation of how that was done. I suspect it was added in the marketing dept, personally.

I really hope Ford doesn't mess with this motors output, at least until they get it running right, add back PI, fix the tow/haul "fix", etc.
