I have an 01 X with 47k. I'm not sure if this is a problem or not but while crusing along around 55mph if i accelerate just a little and hold it, it's like the engine is in a bind like it's not hitten on all 8. i don't really lose power but sound like something's not right. Also I noticed this today while checking my air filter, if you goose it with the cover off it sucks a lot of air but after you let off it's like if blows air back and makes a funny noise. My wife thanks i'm crazy and tells me to just drive the thing but i always seem to be looking or listening for new problems. Please help ease my mind
An 01 with 47,000 is the problem, it is pukeing from sitting still. I have an 03 bought in Dec 02 and I have 65,000 [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] I am the same way though, I always here sounds. It drives me nuts some times. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

That is normal.It is the compression of the air from the turbo wheel.It has no where to go when the motors rpm's come down.I hear it with the ZOODAD mod,and others hear it with modified intakes.It is the same as riding neck in neck with a semi off a light.I love that sound! Yeap that be the normal typical "surge" sound you be hearing [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
A Wicked Wheel will help or eliminate that swoosh sound you hear when letting up on the throttle.
