New X!!!

Spent the last two years ordering/waiting/cancelling Super Duty's. Then this weekend I found a Wedge Blue X, picked it up Monday and I am in love!!! It goes off to the shop (4WheelParts in San Marcos, CA) next Wednesday for the lift, wheels, tires, grille, lens, etc. etc. etc.

I will post pictures when it is done)

Re: New X!!!

I'm only going with the ProComp 4", so I will use the 35" BF Muds.

scott don't regret goin with 37's..I got 36 swampers with a 6" lift and they rub when I take it to Glamis (Dunes). I don't have the high angle d/s, and have no problems.

Re: New X!!!

I'm not going with the high-angle driveshaft yet. With the 4" lift, 4wheelparts hasn't been seeing (or hearing) any problems with that size lift, but if it does we will go with a CV joint.

Re: New X!!!

I'm getting the skyjacker leveling kit with the 2" blocks in the back. Are the 35's (BFG 315x75x16) the biggest tires I can get ?

Re: New X!!!

Yes. The 37's would fit in back, but they will rub in front. I'm assuming you're also lifting the front???

Where do they rub?? In the front of the wheel well, or the back---if it's the front, you could shim the bumper---I'd ask Mr. Superduty----I think he's used 37's w/no problem!!!!!
