New X arrived yesterday

Dealer had given me the train car number on Friday and I tracked it to Jessup, MD on Saturday morning. On Monday morning, I called the dealer to ask if I could get the truck by Friday...they told me it was ready for pickup! The dealer had anticiapted my request and asked the expediter at Jessup to get my rig to the dealer ASAP. So far, Sheehy Ford in Marlow Heights, MD is doing a great job earning my business (no wonder they made Blue Oval).

BTW, I got 17 MPG on the trip to work this morning...old Expedition averaged 14 for the same trip.

Harry - Sounds like you got yourself a winner. That shade of blue looks great on the X. Now, I guess we stay tuned for the mods to start showing up - looking forward to it.

Harry congrats.,and I know you are really going to love the big blue money pit You know, I can tell from above that there is all kinds of goodies we can add. I have found that if I get one the way I want it I keep it longer. So it may be cheaper in the long run. Yeah right bed excuse is better none at all .

Good luck and take care

Re: New X arrived yesterday

Congrats on the tow rig Harry!! I almost bought a Wedgewood Blue...very nice color.

I'm happy with my X, works great as a tow rig for my Jeeps and as adaily driver...I've used the front diff a few times too...seems places where our group takes our Jeeps that we need a 4x4 to get the trucks/trailers back in there (gotta love that, eh? A 4x4 only parking area LOL!).

Re: New X arrived yesterday

Utah,

Won't be too many mods. This will be my daily driver, so all I plan are a mild chip, turbo brake, guages, and possibly a TDLS or TTM and AIC.

I just can't see lifting/tricking out the X anyway...it will never be a gret offroader, and the looks thing is for posers.
