noise while driving that's making me crazy

See if any of you guys have experienced this noise. I have a 2000 X and I've just noticed this in the past year or so.

My X has a lot of road vibration due mostly to oversize tires. I have the second row bench. The leather on the lower bench seems to vibrate against the leather on the seat back, giving me a horribly irritating noise that's difficult to describe. Kind of like a big dog licking his lips or something. Like I said, hard to describe.

I know I have the source of the sound accurately identified because if I tilt the bottom seats forward, all is well.

Anybody else have this noise? Any suggestions for fixing it? I'm about to stick a bath towell (medium parchment of course) between the seat back and bottom, but surely there's a better solution?

Can anyone help out a brother?

I had my seatbelt fall into the sleave it rides in and it rattled a lot, took a while, it is kind of hard to fish out, now I put zip ties on it to keep it from falling. It sounded like you said, it is the middle belt, the tab, not the buckle.
