What are you going to do walk? Are you saying your income is going to be reduced? If so think about refinancing. Interest rates are fairly low right now. You can probably reduce your payment a quite a bit by refinancing.
If you are set on selling it good luck. I would list it in your local paper first. Problem with ebay is deadbeat bidders and finding a buyer in your area since vehicle shipping is not cheap.
I've actually had very good luck selling a couple of cars on eBay. First buyer was in next state over and drove in to pick up the car. The other was in Little Rock, AR and flew up one way and drove the car home. No dead beat bidders and I got top dollar. Most people who "play" around on ebay don't seem to play with high end auctions. Bad cashier’s checks/scams are the biggest problem. Make sure to talk to your banks' manager to get some tips and you MUST call the bank the check was written on when they give it to you in person to verify that they in fact issued it and that it will be covered. Call information to get the phone number. Don't rely on any information the buyer gives you with regard to the banks phone number etc. It is actually a very good idea to meet the buyer at your bank and do the paperwork there. Less chance of scammers showing up at a bank with witnesses/cameras etc. Also gives you a chance to run the check by your bank manager. Lots of pictures and a thorough friendly description helps a lot on the auction side.

That's to bad. You have an awesome X that someone would be lucky to have. I would post here in the FOR SALE section. There is a person just a couple of days ago looking for one in this forum. Just be careful I read in the News Forum here about a couple of scams that are floating around. Good Luck!!! With the restructure of my pay, I'm taking a 33% cut. The Excursion is the only payment (besides the house) that I have. It's not a big deal, I buy and sell cars and trucks all the time, it's just that this is the only vehicle I have ever owned that could handle any task or load I had. EBay works fine, I bought this truck on it two years ago, and sell 10 or so cars a year that way. I'll miss it, but in two years when my wife graduates college I'll get the '04 True Blue 6.0 I want.
