Oil Drain Plug seen on TV...Anyone used it?

I saw a neat commercial on a new oil drain plug. It replaces your factory set-up and when you are ready to change the oil you remove a brass cap, put on an adapter that has a hose attached. Should really clean up the Oil change process since you don't have to remove the plug from the pan.

Has anyone used this on thier X yet?

Thanks Rob

Geno's sells something like that but I forget what their name for it is.

Are you referring to the Fumoto Valve?

I think he's referring to the new Fram dohickey. Another member tried it and the threads were not compatible with the PSD oil pan threads. Otherwise, it's a great idea. The Fumoto will work just as well but doesn't have the plug and hose, just a valve.

This is the one from genos:

I bought it and it works GREAT. I like it better than the fumoto valve because it doesn't hang down...I may be paranoid, but I could just imagine hooking that up on a log or flipping the lever by getting it tangled up on some brush. Actually, I'd be more concerned about running over a semi tire that self destructed on the road... again, just my opinion.

On a V10 the Wally World version for $12 works like a champ. My local store just got them in on Friday.
