What's everyone using for onboard air in their X ?? In my Cruiser I have a york a/c comp. , but cant see any room for that under the hood
of the X and I know Oasis has a 12v/york for much $$$ any suggestions?
And I would perfer to stay away from the little air comp's

I'm still researching mine, so make sure you post pictures when you finish!
I've reserved a nice area on the outside of the passenger side framerail for whatever I come up with. I figure I can put a nice storage tank in there too. Right now I'm leaning towards either a Viair 450, or a Quickair3. I think the Viair is a better deal, and I haven't heard anything bad about them, but my "jeep bias" is steering me towards the Quickair3.
Have a good one,
Dave

I have been thinking about this also. There just isn't any room unless you mount it along the frame. Not sure I like the idea of a pressure tank under my feet. I am leaning toward the quickair 3 also but the portable one. I have the Warn multi mount system fronty and back so I am thinking about putting the warn plug on the quickair 3 and just plugging in to the ends I have mounted on the front and back of my X. There is also the one that uses a winch motor that drives a compresssor but IU think this is getting to much.

I was thinking about using winch qc's also. Seems like a nice way I could move it between the jeep and the X. Are you worried about the tank because of a rupture during a wreck or ?? If you figure that on the QA3 the max PSI is 70, I wouldn't think there's much risk of a catastrophic failure, but who knows.
Regards,
Dave

I am not sure about putting the compressor with oil in the back of my X. Its also very heavy. My multi mount is heavy and big. I don't think I want two of them in the back. Anyway, the quickair 3 looks like a good comprimise for me but its quit expensive.
