1) It rides like a dream.
2) It's quiet (even with the PSD).
3) The kids love it.
4) The wife loves it!
5) No cackle.
6) No pull to the right on hard braking.
7) The power is wonderful (Insert Tim Allen grunt here).
221 mile on it as of tonight (got it 3 days ago). Can't stop driving it. Already washed it once.
Digital readout is telling me 13.1 Average MPG. I don't know if it is right yet. I hope to verify that soon and get some pics.
The 73 day wait was worth every minute.
We will be pulling this coming weekend (I hope I can get to 500 miles by then). The manual says no pulling for first 500 miles.
The PSD badges are not here yet.
I haven't looked for the Turbo bolts yet. Maybe tomorrow.

782 miles, 1st oil change today. Heading out Monday on 1500 mile round trip. Decided to get my 1000 mile oil change in early rather than late. 15 quarts! Wow, I didn't think I would ever get it full.
I'm up to 2,700 miles on mine, and also just love this vehicle. No problems at all. No cackle, no brake pull and my trailer harness has not fallen off . This thing is fun to drive and my kids and wife also love the thing.
The only thing that seems odd is my mileage. My first 2 tanks I got 15. Last 2 were about 14.5. My computer is now showing about 14.1. I had been running Texaco, the last tank was Conoco (don't know if that has something to do with it). I thought it was supposed to get better!

4X2 Estate Green Limited PSD Excursion. CD Changer, L/S 3.73 Differential, PSD Badging, Stull Grille. Plate # "4TRESS". Pyro, Boost, Trans Temp & Pillar Mount ordered 5/02. Ordered 2/21; Born 3/17; Arrived at Dealer 3/27; Took Delivery 3/31!
I love my baby. She is a truck and a luxury vehicle. I have 7900 miles on it and its great. I got the block heater which was not listed on the sticker....didn't know it was standard on the limited's...another plus. Tows my 30' twin rig Scarab great (7k-8k loaded)I love this truck. Sh*t on consumer reports for the bad review. You can tell money is involved with that deal.
Mileage wise I started out at 15...has worked its way up to 17. Seems to be getting better with more miles. Its already getting better MPG's then the bronco I traded.

I'm with you on Consumer Reports badmouthing the Excursion. I can't find a single reason for the bad reports. Maybe the V-10 is underpowered? From what I have read here the V-10 will pull the Excursion just fine. The gas mileage may be bad but it will pull it.
Consumer Reports ought to talk to a few owners and see what their feedback is. Maybe I will go to their site and let them know how I feel. Let's all do it!
Fun, fun, fun!
