PATS in all Excursions? - Diesel Forum

I'm going to be buying a used Ex in the next couple weeks and have been doing a ton of research on what I want to do to it once I get it home. One of the things on the list is a chip from Jody but I see from a post below that there are issues with the PATS system. I really don't want to have the X be down for a few days while parts fly back and forth across the country. I'll probably be getting a 2000 Limited.

Do all Excursions have the PATS system?

Simple solution....Call and see if he will sell you a pcm with one program. Install and send him your oem/pats, then see if he will buy back the first one after you get you original pcm back with the new goodies, if not I think maybe you will be out $75 plus shipping. Again, call and talk to him.
