Re: Pic of the new rig!

Very Nice. Have you had in shifting issues with the Evolution? I'm in the market for a programmer and have been reading about people who have had problems with the shifting on it.
Toreador red has got to be the best selling color that Ford had. I prefer black, but I'm biased though

Re: Pic of the new rig!

Nice rigs bro... as far as the evolution... it greatly IMPROVED the shifting of the X. I am only using the tow mod as I wanted just a little more ummph. At least 'till I get a Suncoast in there! It was shifting kinda sloppy when we first picked it up and the Edge firmed it right up..

You have to be the first one I have read that stated the Edge actually improved shifting? Then again you are only using Tow mode which is where the shifting problems are least noticed. In fact according to Edge tech support they do not change the shifting at all other than an increase in line pressure?

That being said I think its the nature of the handheld generic programmers that they do not do justice to the transmission control as compared to a cpu code specific chip. I was going to switch over to the Diablo but it looks like they have the same issue.

My X with the evo at anything other than tow mode had alot of shift flair and unwillingness to downshift. I put in Sonnax/Tricumulator springs which helped greatly however it is still not able to put all the power to the pavement.
