Picking up an 04 X today- I've got ?'s

I am picking up a new 6.0 XLT 4x4 X today. I am new to diesels and Excursions. I have been reading up on posts for the last couple weeks and have decided on a few after market upgrades but don't know the exact items I want. I considered waiting for the 2005's but not sure how long my current vehicle will last before dumping money into it. Plus, it doesn't seem like anyone really knows for sure that the X's will have the new options the F-X50's are getting. Just wanted your thoughts:

Tires: Need a little help here. Nitto Terra Grappler is the brand I wnat to go with. Not sure about the size. I am think 17' wheels should look fine. It depends on the lift. I am guessing the 33" tires if I do the 3" lift and 35" if I do the 4 1/2" lift

Suspension: 3" or 4 1/2" Edge lift kit. This is a hard one. I don't want it too rough of a ride for the wife. I also think the 3" will almost just look like a leveling kit. http://www.superdutyheadquarters.com...nplushedge.htm

Sway bar: sounds like I need to the 1 1/2" helwig (sp?) sway bar.

Exhaust. This is wear I am the most confused. Normal driving around town and will only be doing weekend towing of my boat (approx. 6,500 lbs. total). Usually once a week 100 miles through light hills and once a month 530 miles (round trip) over some pretty good size passes (Cajon Pass, Grape Vine, Needles). Not sure about the whole set up. I keep reading about 3 1/2 down pipe and 4 inch exhaust. What about muffler and or cat? Not sure how people are setting these up from engine to exhaust tip and what's the best way to go.

Air Filter: ? Don’t know what to go with here.

Stereo: Pioneer N1- This is the new Pioner that has DVD, and navigation. You can even add a camera that will turn on automatically when you go into reverse. It is supposed to let you use the navigation, listen to music and play a DVD movie in the rear monitor all at the same time. This is one of the reasons I didn't care about getting the DVD included in the purchase.

It also sounds like I want an easy way to disable the reverse sensor while towing. I know they have an override switch but I heard it can be anoying to manage while towing.

It turns out the newer tow package has a rear sway bar. That's one less thing I need. I also understand it has tougher rear springs. Not sure how that will impact the lift.

Springs are the same, unfortunatly. A spring upgrade option is something they need to have from Ford.

Exhaust? I have Magnaflow, and that's about all you have to choose from for a 2004. I have the cat welded back in. It's not loud, just sounds better and has just enough turbo whistle.

Air intake? That's up in the air. Some swear by some and other's say they wish they would have saved their money. The OEM filter is supposedly about as good as they get as far as filtration. AFE w/Progard 7 supposedly is the best thing out there right now. Better air flow and iltration that is at least as good as OEM.

Too many things to do with these things and too much money that can be spent.
