I'm on my way home stopped at light when I went to take off the motor ran real rough for a second then died. When I started it back up it ran real rough again and died b4 I could get going, this happend two more times then on the third time it seemed fine so I headed for the house but it ** hick-upped about three time in the first half mile. after that it ran fine the rest of the way home (maybe 5 more miles).
** Note: by hick-uppped I mean the motor shut off for an instant but then kept going.
At first I thought CPS but I was able to start it agian and I was under the impression that once it goes thats it.

Also this is 7.3 with almost 20k miles. This is the first time I've had any problems with the motor. This post is also in the 7.3 engine forum.
If you dup posted, one will likely get poofed. However, a 7.3 with only 20k on it???? :O Wow....cool.

The CPS can go out at anytime at any mileage but it won't hurt to take it by the dealer to see if it'll pull a code.
I didn't catch if you're the original owner.

If you're the original owner and it's within the 3year/36,000 mile warranty it won't cost you anything to have them scope it out.
