I've had 3 separate dealers tell me the power adjustable pedals are cancelled for 2001. But I've also had a few other dealers tell me Ford is still saying "late availablility" for 2001. Does anyone have a definitive answer? If I'm waiting for no reason, I just go buy an X off the lot.

Only FOrd has the real answer, however I just ordered one and 3 dealers told me that they had no info that they would be available. Lacking any assurance I just gave up and ordered now.

Whatever you do, don't buy an Extended Warranty from your dealer until you check with Bobby Williams at sunrisefordfleet.com. He beat my dealers price by $1000.00 on a 6yr 60K ESP for my wifes Mustang, and another $1000.00 on my X.

I have driven the Expedition with the power adjustable pedals and neither my wife or myself liked them. Even after putting the pedals all the way down you had to lift your leg to go from accelerator to brake. I did not like this at all. Its one of the minor reasons we went with the X instead of the Expedition. Anyway, if you haven't tried them I suggest you drive the Expedition first before you order them if you could.

my '01 navigator has the power adjusting brake and acc. not impressed!!
in addition to the height differance in the pedals, there is lots of side to side movement. i do not care for the option.
