I got the rectangular PSD badges that you see on the doors of the F250 and put them below the EXCURSION on the side of my truck. You should be able to get them at the parts department at the dealer. Cost me about $30 and they just stick right on. Before I picked up my truck I told the sales guy that I wanted these. He initially showed me the smaller, V8 shaped ones that go on the front of the fender (I think on F350s), they were cheaper, but I liked the bigger ones better. No mistake that is says PSD.

Thanks for the reply. I think I will follow your lead. I like the badging that you mentioned(and the placement). Curious as to why FORD didn't do that on the Excursions. This motor is an absolute beast/brute. Thanks! T
Just ordered mine last Mon. Got a call from the parts guy this morning. I am gonna wash the beast and inogurate it with the news PSD name plates this afternoon.
Cheers
Paul

Paul, do you have a part number on these? The dealer I called, couldn't commit on the exact ones I wanted. Buy from John_m's note, you two seem to have the right one. Thanks, T
The insignia is 10 5/8" long by 1 1/8" high
rectangular adhesive attached.
it is used on the front DOORS of the 2000 F-550 PSD (among others) and it reads:
POWER STROKE DIESEL V8
with red accented double underlines below
the words POWER STROKE
part# F81Z-16720-ZB
I installed one below the OVAL on the right tail door and each side of the hood on the side of the bulge, looks like a muscle car!

Seen this on many of the previous posts, what is it? I am assuming that it is the Placard/Label that we see on the SD's, but aren't on the Excursions. Could I have ordered this? How do you get it(the actual label)? Thanks, T
OK, the Part # that I bought was F81Z16720ZB, Description of: PLT AS. The list price was $14.74 (funny I negotiated the truck down to $100 over invoice, but paid list for these ). They fit perfectly under the EXCURSION on the side. I left a small gap between the 2. They almost look like they are made to be there. Good luck!

I just went in to the dealer and ask to buy the name plates that come on the F-250 or the F-350. I put mine on last night. They look awsome.
Cheers
Paul

Thanks for the feedback. I will order mine today. I went to the dealer last nite, 'cause they said they had them in stock, and they didn't! Argh...
The info you all gave was great! Should take a few days to get them. (dealer quoted $21.00 each! I will beat him up on price when I get there.)
I ordered 2 of them a few days ago. The dealer quoted a little under $15 each! That is probably the standard price and your dealer didn't sell enough vehicles last month to feed his family!
I don't have the numbers you want, but when I ordered my PSD badges from the dealer I saw a depiction of them on his computer screen. That's how I new for sure I was ordering the correct PSD badge.
Check with your parts guy to see if he can show you what you are ordering. The depictions were pretty lousy resolution . . . looked like one of my kids sketched it . . . but you can see enough to get what you want!
