I think its those things that you stick on the side of your truck that say Power Stroke V8 diesel...They cost avout $14ea at your local ford dealer. I bought 3 , one for the rear but it fell off.

Plastic self adhesive plate that identifies the engine "Power Stoke Diesel V8". They are available on all Super Duty PSD equipped trucks but not the Excursion, so some of us have put them on. I mounted mine under the Excursion badge on both sides, others mount them on the lower portion of the front doors like on the Super Duty trucks.

If you don't like whats being said in these forums then stay out. People come here to get answers to their questions, wheather you think they are important or not. If you can't be civil then stay off your parents computer when they aren't home.
Ford decided the stately X didn't need badging or decals. I would avoid badging simply because it is one more wax collector. Besides, why advertise what fuel you use. The only person on the road who really cares is the taxman who wants to know what color your diesel fuel is.

quote:
Originally posted by curtjones: The main reason for the badging is tell parking garage attendents that it is a diesel so maybe they'll wait to start.

I loved that "Badges? We don't need no stinkin badges!" remark. I posted this reply two days late because I just stopped laughing about it today! We could use some light banter. Thanks WHOISBIGMAN!
