It has happened to mine, ON VERY RARE occasions.
Usually in the winter time though. ???

Mine went nuts 1 1/2 year ago. Went to the dealer 5 times they kept ordering new sensors and new control module. Finally it was a short in the wiring from sensor up to module somewhere.... Dealer's solution was to bypass the internal wiring and run all new ones and has fixed everything

If mine's really dirty, like covered in road film, I've had it go off, but only a time or two.... I simply walked back and cleared them with my finger.

The sensors on my Navigator (same things) went funny at about 2.5 years old. It turned out to be the wires running to the sensors. It was fixed under warrenty.
