Rear Cargo Area Mats

Looking to get one. Which one is best, where did you get it, and how much did you pay?

Looking for something with sides for liquid control.

Thanks!!

Re: Rear Cargo Area Mats

I have a factory one for the Limited but it is too nice so I bought a Husky Liner for $79. It has sides and I cut slits so the cargo loops come thru. That may be a problem if you dump a gallon on the thing but small spills have so far been kept inside it. I would do that and the front mats. The factory ones barely cover the floor.

Re: Rear Cargo Area Mats

You can just see my Husky floor liners in this pic

Husky Floor Liners

They really cover up the floor, but are pretty stiff plastic. The Weathertech rear mat is much better quality vinyl.

Re: Rear Cargo Area Mats

I bought a full set of Catch-all liners (including cargo) for our X and they should be called Catch-nothing. I hate them they are hard to clean and with the rounded edge dirt and water (melted snow) just climb right over the edge onto the carpet. I had a full set of Husky floor liners in our 95' Bronco and they worked great and were easy to clean. I also have a set of Husky's in my 96' crew cab and they hold it all (water, snow, mud, ext...) without spilling it on the carpet. Get the Husky Liners you will be happy.

Re: Rear Cargo Area Mats

Ditto the Husky floor liners. You could turn a fire hose on inside the truck and not get the carpet wet.

I am on my 3rd-4th set of Weathertech cargo liners. I really like them. Never tried the Husky cargo liner.

Re: Rear Cargo Area Mats

I removed the 3rd row seat in my Xcursion and am looking for a mat that will encompass all that area now available. Does anyone know of such a creation???

What Dog dividers have you all used with success that you are willing to recommend?

Re: Rear Cargo Area Mats

Weathertechs are WONDERFUL!!

I have both sizes. When I fold the 2nd row down, I put the smaller mat in front of the bigger mat and that gives me 8 feet of protection. I've hauled 2000 lbs of lumber and concrete and have never hurt the carpet. My mats have some nice scratches on them though!!

Re: Rear Cargo Area Mats

I would do the Husky Liners. I installed mine the day I brought my 2000 X home 3 1/2 years ago. They are smooth making them easy to clean, match interior great and hold lots of water. My factory mats are new and stored for the new owner. My liners look good enough to go in my 2004 X when it arrives in August. This Memorial Day we bought my wife a new Toyota Land Cruiser, ordered the Husky Liners on Tuesday from their 1-800 # and they were delivered the next Monday. Tonight on the way home from the store a gallon of milk turned over and spilled about a quart through a leaky lid. The liners would have held the whole gallon. She was happy I ordered them as milk in the back of a 2 week old truck would not be a good start. I would not cut out the holes for the 3rd seat so they will hold liquids. I have the rear seat removed in the X and her Land Cruiser. Both are stored wrapped up in case we need them which is rare. I have had a heavy Snap On tool box on mine in the X for the whole 3 years, no wear. I vote for Husky Liners, you guys who have trucks on order, have them in hand before you get the truck! You will not be sorry.....

Re: Rear Cargo Area Mats

The catch all do kinda suck but their warranty is pretty good. Found cracks in my rubber side of three of my mats today, called the company -Nifty products and they are sending me out a complete set (all five mats). That's not too bad
