Re: Rear diff fluid how much?

A. Close to 4 quarts
B. Syn. Yes Have to check on weights Think it is 80W-140 I know it is high
C. If you have limited slip you may need to add it but you may not and the limited slip will work "more" if you don't add it.

I did my 02 just prior to selling and it did not seem to need it.

Perhaps someone can clarify the weights I do know it is different front and rear.

Re: Rear diff fluid how much?

If its anything like my 99, it is almost 4 quarts and most likely calls for the synthetic fluid (90-140 off the top of my head). Pretty expensive too, probably cost anywhere from $80-90 for the fluid. Make sure you pick up a bottle of friction modifier too, you'll need it for the LS.

When I was in Dallas, I always went to Lee Jarmon Ford (aka Sam Pack's),
they are at a relatively new location now in Farmers Branch near LBJ and North Dallas Tollway.
