Rear End

Sometimes when towing with the X, if you make a turn at a low speed, and go up an incline, there is a vibration and growl that sounds like it is coming from the rear end.

There is no noise when driving other then what I described above.

Does the X use a special posi-traction fluid, all of the Corvettes that I have owned have used a special fluid and an additive?

Yes. You need a special "anti-spin" additive for the rear end. Amsoil gear lube apparently does not need it, but every other gear lube does.
