Will the key turn or is it frozen?
Several years ago mine was frozen. Applied liberal amounts of liquid graphite and kept trying. After a couple of mins it worked and has been fine since.
The key hole attracts a lot of dirt so clean and apply graphite every couple of months.
If this does not work then new one required. Bit of a pain to change as limited access also ask dealer to key it for you no charge.
