Rear Heat Issue

Hey guys...my rear heat doesnt always get hot...I've got to give the wall a shot in front of the rear heat unit a pop anytime I cycle the controls from warm to cold and back(or else it just blow cold air)...somethings sticking-what is it and how can I get at it?

The hot cold blend door is sticking not sure why never seen it listed here but that must be what it is based on what you say.

I assume it's the door-I leave it on cold for 8 months of the year-understand it getting stuck-more curious about how to get at it than anything.

My rear heat failed, but onlly when using the rear controls. the front controls worked fine, but the rear wouldn't do anything. Ford dealer replaced control unit and fried new controller. Then had to pull headliner, to find short in harness, fix harness and get new controller. Appearantly a wire in the overhead harness chafed on a sharp edge with only 20,000 miles on the truck...
