Rear lift gate struts

I know about using 2wd struts to lift the glass higher, and now I'm ready to buy them. Searching through old posts, it seems as though the price on these has gone up quite a bit. The dealer wants $38+ a Page Ranking., and Napa was a little less. Who has done this swap recently, and who has the best deal on them?
