Here sometime ago I saw some pics of a members X that had a rear seat entertainment center that had the monitors in the front seat headrests. I have searched everywhere and I can't find it again!
My major question is, is the headrest (2) monitors better that the center monitor above the seats?
Is is hard for the young ones (2) to see the monitor if it is mounted on the ceiling?
If the monitor is anything like the laptop computer I have it will be difficult to see the picture unless you are directly in front of it. Does the single monitor image disappear like a laptop if you are off to the side a little bit.
If anyone has had the system installed in the headrests can I get an idea of how much it will cost?
Thanks>>>>>>>

I have the factory rear ent center. I added the Nintendo system and inverter, and the two monitors in the back of the headrests. Be sure and install them with the seat in the position that you usually have it in. That way, it will be lined up right for the rear passengers to view it. I also installed a monitor in the front of the center console for front seat viewing. Also, add a switch so you can view a movie in the center, and play Nintendo with the two headrest monitors. No sound from the second one, but still fun for the kids. You can alternate them back and forth as you want to.
>My major question is, is the headrest (2) >monitors better that the center monitor above >the seats?
I have a 10.4" centre screen, so I can't comment about the headrest option. It seems to me that the headrest option is for 2 people only, no use for the third seat, and no use for anyone in the middle. The 10.4" is big enough to comfortably view it from the 3. row.

Not really, but they will lean in towards the middle to get a better view although it is not strictly necessary.

On mine the picture is pretty good at an angle, but there is a slight decrease in quality at an angle, but nothing major.
I would recommend the 10.4" though, the 7" screens are pretty small.
Also, we've got a PS2 hooked up to it, that way they can play games AND play DVDs. Also, another must is the cordless headphones. I don't know if you can even buy sets without them, but I know I would have been lost without it.
I had the kids sit through an entire showing of "The Tenth Kingdom", and that is close to 10 hours I think!! Man, we covered some miles that day!

Exactly, that it what I was talking about. Could you please email me and let me in on the particulars??
Thanks, also where do you get the stuff and if you don't mind, how much $$.
I was concerned that the center monitor would be blanked out like my computer screen does when you get off to an angle. Am I correct, or is it a different type of screen?
I am not sure which one to go with (center monitor mounted on ceiling or the two in the headrests).
