Rear Seats in an Excursion

Hello and thanks for any replys. I am getting ready to order an 04 X and was wondering if you can get power fold down seats in the 2nd and 3rd row. Any help appreciated.

Re: Rear Seats in an Excursion

You don't need to fold them as much as the Expedition since there is so much room behind the second seat.

Thanks for all the responses. Not really a problem, but I did think that option for the Expedition was nice. Can you fold both the 2nd and 3rd row seats? If so that will be great.

Thanks,

Gary

Re: Rear Seats in an Excursion

You can fold both of them, but the third seat needs to be removed for a full flat floor. (It is very easy to remove and unless you are hauling a cub scout pack or a softball team, it is usually just in the way.

Re: Rear Seats in an Excursion

Cappy- OK, that is just like the wife's 01 expedition. Pulled the 3 row seat out as soon as we got it home from the dealership. I can live with that but the power seats in the new expedition is really nice. Thanks for all the help.

Re: Rear Seats in an Excursion

I like to fold the second row down, throw in a DVD and enjoy my limo theater. The third seat cushion makes a great headrest. The wife loves it because she has hours to shop before I start blowing the horn.

Re: Rear Seats in an Excursion

I leave the third seat in most of the time, but fold it down and tip it forward and rest it against the back of the second row seat. Golf bags eaily fit lengthwise that way. While it has never fallen back on me while driving, you could easily rig a strap to prevent that.

Re: Rear Seats in an Excursion

You can also fold the middle seats down, then roll the back seat to the front, then tip it.

That gives you plenty of room and all the seats with you.
