Very simple. The rear post trim simply clips on and off. I removed mine when I had that motor replaced under warranty (I didn't want to give the service guys any excuse to leave greasy hand prints all over my trim!) and again when I installed my beeper bypass switch. Just tug on it and the clips will pop loose. When you're done just line it up and pop it back in. You may need to pop off the connecting trim piece that covers the rear of headliner (I can't recall.) If so it's no big deal. It just pops in and out like the other panel.
At one point I had thought my vent window motor had gone out. I think they have some sort of “sensor” in them that turns them off when the hit a certain resistance. What happens with mine on hot days is that is gets “stuck” to the rubber seal. When the day cools off, and usually after it has been opened, it works fine. At least I think that is what’s going on. I know that the rear window door requires quite a tug to get open sometimes as a result of “sticking” to the rubber.
I find that like an emergency brake if you don't use it it will break. I had mine act up but I use it all the time now and it is getting better, it used to make noise. I am glad they are easy to fix so as long as it does not get stuck open I should be fine

No pics. Really simple though. I just spliced a Wal-Mart rocker switch into the red wire to the beep-beep-beeper. The most difficult part for me was getting up my nerver to cut the hole in the trim panel for the switch which I mounted a few inches below the speaker.
