Re: Rear Window Washer

Mine seems to have an ~ 2 sec delay prior to producing a stream rather than a spray. Never really thought too much about it until you mentioned it. Anyone have a recommendation on replacement wipers? Mine seem like it is about time.

Re: Rear Window Washer

I believe you will find that the delay in putting out any fluid is due to the fact that the fluid has to be pumped all the way from the front. There is no rear fluid bottle.

Rear Window Washer

Anyone else have a problem with the rear window washer? Mine takes forever for anything to come out, and when it does it is not a spray, rather a splash.

Re: Rear Window Washer

One thing I'm having a problem with, is the rear washer nozzle drips and leaves streaks down the right rear dutch door. Took awhile to figure that out, as I thought it was water trapped in the top door after washing that finally drained out a couple days after!

I'm having the rear wiper assy replaced tommorrow. I'll let you know if it happens again after that.

Re: Rear Window Washer

Hookem,

I notice you have the 450/550 springs. How do like them? Did you do the install yourself? How long to install and any problems? Did you get any lift on the front end?? Reduce the sway?? Love to hear your results.

Thanks.

Re: Rear Window Washer

Polr Br-

Installed them last weekend. Took about 4 hrs. I probably made it more difficult than it needed to be but then again I dont have much patience for that kind of stuff. Glad I have a Father in law that does and has all the tools. Anyway, it raised the front ~ 2inches. The front is 1/16 higher than the rear. (~ 40 1/4 inches from ground to top of wheel well)It does feel like it improved the ride as well. Slightly firmer but feels like more control over bumpy roads. The Edelbrock shocks should have been here yesterday I hope they arrive today so that I can put them on this weekend. I am really looking forward to that. I hope to schedule a pheasant hunt in Lubbock this year so that I can stop by DIS and have them do a turbo temp monitor/brite box/a-pillar/gaugesand then I expect to be done adding and just enjoy the truck. BTW, when I figure out how to post pics I will.
