As stated in the tile, somehow my cover is missing. According to the dealer, it only comes as part of the arm. Does anyone have an extra cover? If you happen to pass a totaled Excursion, I could use one.
Thanks,
John

I just so happen to have just replaced my rear wiper arm a couple weeks ago. And I still have the old one. I'll have it friday. Let me know what parts you need or if you just want the whole arm.
Same thing happened to me. I lost mine as well, in the carwash I'm guessing.
I masked it off and hit it with some black spray paint until I could get into the dealer for the part. That's ridiculous that you have to buy the whole assembly. I guess I'll just stop into a junk yard or two as I pass them and see if I can find just that piece.

yea, mine went missing once too, I was able to buy it as a seperate piece, it was even cheap at $15.00. Sometimes it is just the person you get behind the counter. I can bet yours was stolen, with the amount of force it took to get it on I tested the car wash idea, it was nearly impossible to get mine off without really trying...hard....so I feel mine was lifted and in 160,000 miles it has not happened again.

mine was at the stealer when new, it went missing....and your right, with the force it took to put on it had to be stolen....so I found an X on the lot and took it back....if they have it under their roof and it goes missing it is their fault.

He is but Ford only sells the whole arm. I just need the cover. The arm is around $40.
Thanks,
John
I just paid $46.00 for that arm, so, you speak the truth. Mine wasn't wiping the whole window; it would skip the middle of the window and it was right where you needed it to wipe! The spring was weak. Craig.

Add me to the list of EX onwers that were missing the nut cover. My only guess is that I lost it during a week long trip to SoCal. I know it was on the day before we left, 'cuz I hit the blade with 303 and I would have noticed it missing.
I discovered it missing the next evening after we got home. As I drove into the driveway in my commuter, I immediately noticed the shiney nut. Upon further inspection, I noticed that a piece was missing. The cover.
The dealer replaced the entire arm under the 3/36 warranty (expires 7/08).
