Roof Rack idea!
Has anyone here considered putting spacers underneath the factory runners?
That would raise the factory crossmembers an inch or so and stop the rubbing problem.
I would try it myself, but to carry my packasport without hitting the roof of the X (the roof is curved but the packasport is flat) I would have to raise the runners about 3 inches and then they wouldn't fit in my parking garage.
Looks like I'll have stick to my original plan of buying aftermarket. [img]images/icons/frown.gif[/img]
