Running boards ligthing

If anyone who has a '05 EB PSD with the ligthed running boards, could look under their rigs and tell me where the wiring off the running board goes. The right side has a rear wire hook up and the left side a front wire. Do these go into the body and if so where? Or is there a wiring harness that comes of the engine compartment junction box that supplies power?

You could always wire it to a dome light or one of the lights in the doors...since when you open one door all the door lights come on. That is if you have the door lights....I think Ford got rid of some of those on the newer trucks.
