SD rear springs vrs Radius rods

I have been reading the posts about Landyot's arms and it seems that it would be a lot easyer and cheeper to install SD springs. As far as the end ride quality . What do ya all think??

Re: SD rear springs vrs Radius rods

The rods would be helpful with either springs. Ken doesn't make rods for the Trucks due to the loads (overloading) people put in their trucks. I may swap out springs in my X to raise the ride height for fitting larger tires, I'll still use the Rods either way, they work. I'd install a set on my F250, but Ken won't sell to an individual if he knows they are for a truck. He's a good guy.

Re: SD rear springs vrs Radius rods

A buddy of mine got LandYot to build a set for his F350 dually. But my buddy later told me that his is the only set 'cause LandYot builds them only for the Excursion now. I think LandYot got a little scared after he saw my bud's dually with a huge slide-in camper making the tail-end sag a bit. But my bud hasn't had a moment's trouble with his rods. Said they smooth out the ride over irregular surfaces at speed.

Re: SD rear springs vrs Radius rods

Yeah I wasn't sure if they were available for the pickups due to spring to frame spacing or something.

Our Excursions need more help than the pickups anyhows
