SES light and in the shop
I finally got a SES light yesterday on the X. For me that is a welcomed thing. It has ran bad before but never a SES light. I have had a miss that comes and goes that the dealer can never duplicate. Yesterday AM I started the X and it ran horrible, surging, black smoke, and then died. Restarted and ran fine. About 2 miles from the house the light came on. At the next intersection it was missing and shaking bad. I pulled out into the intersection and almost got hit. I made it up the road far enough to pull over safely. I had it floored and was only going 20 m.p.h. When it shifted from 1st to 2nd it felt like we got rear ended. I pulled over and turned it off, restarted and it ran fine. The dealer said since the light finally came on a code was stored in the PCM. Hopefully they can fix it this time. The service manager said it sounded like a problem with the HPOP. Seems like something electrical to me. I guess we will see next week. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif[/img]
