I got both the Hellwig bar and my Rancho RSX shocks from JC Whitney. They had the best price when I was looking.

We purchased the Hellwig($129) from Summit,the Rancho 9000X shocks($260) & ProComp ES2000 steering stabilizer ($30)from 4WheelParts.
I just looked at the pricing from Summit for the Hellwig and holy cow $162.39! The price of steel is jacking up pricing across the board
SamsOffRoad.com has had good pricing on shocks.

Got a new JCW catalog in the mail today and they are on sale again.
Rancho RSX shocks on sale for $52.95 and the 9000's for $84.95. The Hellwig bar is $159.95. Plus they have an additional 15% off of orders over $100 and 10% for orders over $50. This is about what the deal was when I bought mine.
That puts it at $180 for RSX shocks and $136 for the Hellwig. If you really want the Rancho 9000's that would be $289 for the set.

Got my hellwig from summit and monroe reflex from A1 Shocks in TX. Will say this much though regarding the shocks, NO longer happy with the monroe reflex. My bilstein on my f350 rides much better. Could be the combination of soft spring and soft shocks on the X vs. DRW and bilstein on the SD. Either way, I will be buying bilstein for the X soon. Got the bilstein originally from Eshocks.com. I think they were about 65 each
Good luck
Dan

I bought my front and rear Hellwigs last month from Summit Racing for $139.00 a piece. I am looking at my new JC Whitney catalog and it shows the rear Hellwig bar for $134.95 and on the back of the same catalog it has a certificate for 15% off all orders $80-199.99 & 20% off on orders $200.00 or more.
As for shocks I went with the Edelbrock AIS shocks and I have been very happy with them. I have a very nice comforatable ride on the highway and not too stiff a ride off-road.
The rear anti-sway bar will be your best bet to achieve a safe handling X.
Good Luck!!

I just installed my Hellwig the other night. We took it up the Beartooth Pass Scenic highway today. It was like riding on rails. I picked it up from JCW $131.00 delivered, used the older catalog with 15% discount. It is a must have for all Excursions.
