Side Mirrors

Whats the deal on side mirrors? I did a search and did not turn anything up.

I see pics of some that look like some of the SD trucks I have seen with 2 bars holding the mirror away from the tuck. Others have an attached mirror with no spacers like the bars.

Are they from different trim levels or years or options like heated?

Or did someone retro fit them?

Thanks,

David

The mirrors you describe as having the 2 bars are the optional towing mirrors that were available on both the X and SD. These mirrors manually extend for towing by pulling them out on the arms (bars).

The mirrors that are attached are the standard mirrors that came on both the X and SD.

I ordered my X with the towing mirrors but I would think they are an easy upgrade if you do not have them.

Re: Side Mirrors

Thanks guys. My pontoon boat is wide and the tow mirrors would be helpful. I if the Ex I end up buying does not have them, I will buy some and put them on.

Good info.

got my set from www.powerstrokeshop.com you can get them cheaper off ebay but just make sure they are OEM mirrors. I have heard of the cheap ones rattling apart.

good luck,

Re: Side Mirrors

I just took a set of trailer towing mirrors of my 02.
They are OEM, and in very good condition. Heated, power adjustable, but not with turn signels.

There yours for $145.00 plus frieght from 94024 about $25.00

On edit, make it $150 total UPS ground
