Speed limiter on '03 6.0L Ex's ?

Is there a speed limiter on these beast?

I thought there was and everything turned out well, but I had an emergency the other day and had to push it on a 6 lane divided highway - little traffic or I wouldn't have...

Got to 100 before I felt that that was fast enough...
Still had throttle left, but just wondered what the tires and engine could stand - never thought about checking out the rpm's because I was focused on getting there and I wasn't worried about a 'truck test' at the time... [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/vulnerable.gif[/img]

I think so. Everyone has been asking Quadzilla if his new box for the 6.0 will eliminate the speed limiter and he said yes, so there must be one to remove.
