What a darned coincidence! The wife will definitely want to swing by to get a pic of the two X's next to one another

Re: Which Springs?

I wanted a white one and she said it was too plain and I showed her the Silver Birch w/PSD 4x4 and she jumped on it,so I searched about 20 dealerships around California and Nevada and found this one at Jones West in Reno,we we're driving it two days later BILL

Re: Which Springs?

Anyone know of someone who has take-off U or V codes for sale? I have a friend who wants a set for his X.

On a seperate note, I went with the Timbren load boosters on my X and it made a big difference without replacing the stock springs. About 2 hours or so and away you go.

Combined with the Rancho 9000's and a rear sway bar, my PSD X is totally transformed. It was actually a pleasure hauling a$$ through the mountains even with the full load of family and gear.

Re: Which Springs?

Glad to help, just let us know how you make out and post a little before and after height data.
There was one other member "clifsmith" that added U codes and has a 100# grill guard and is very pleased. the thread was BAD SPRINGS if you have not read it you should.

If you want to maintain a stock looking height then the V code is max I would go as the W has an inch more arch.

Re: Which Springs?

Bill, it was nice to meet you and your family. I'm glad you had a chance to ride in a modified X before you spend the $. If you need anything give me a call anytime.

Re: Which Springs?

In response to your "V" front spring request. I own a 2002 F-350 Lariat PSD Crew Cab w/factory "V" front springs that were swapped out for "X" front springs yesterday(7/23/02). I plow snow and wanted a "heavier" front spring set up.

Truck had 2,200 miles prior to "V" spring removal.

Would $200.00 + shipping be fair?????

Let me know.
