Stanadyne Performance Formula w/ PSD - Diesel Forum

As a prior GM 6.5L TD owner, I know the importance of using Stanadyne Performance Formula to get longer life out of injector pumps. Are there any benefits of using this stuff with the PowerStroke?

I've used it since tank #1. Check in the "Engine and Drivetrain" forum for Dukes' post about cetane boosters.

I use it for the same reasons you used it in your 6.5. It lubes the injectors, the pump and keeps the oil flowing in the winter. Also raises the cetane of the oil for better firing. Lots of reasons to use it in any diesel.
