I have a Pro Comp on my X and the truck. I have not had any problems with either one. I did not use the boot on either one I was told that water can accumulate inside because it is horizontal not verticle. Made sense to me.
What was the difference after you installed a new one?

So if I replace mine, during the day it will become night, and night will become day?
Seriously, what difference in daily driving do you notice? I know I've felt like I had to hug the wheel just driving down a decent gravel rocd and wondered if a better stabilizer would give be better control, but i'm having a hard time imagining what else would change.

It reduces the "shake" of the wheel say when going over railroad crossing or gated entrance rails for example.
Takes a little more umph to turn the wheel.
But if one needed to go a little more to the extreme there's a dual shock kit available.

Ah, that's what I was thinking. So I was on the right track. I may need to do that. I'm surprised as how the it can take the wheel out of your hand on light gravel. That may be slightly exagerated but that describes it!!

Is there a kit for the 4X2 That is 1 of my complaints if you will. Just crossing our cattle guard the steering wheel wants to jerk out of your hand. and that's at 5 mph
TIA
