I just opened a Dyno Shop in Reseda (Dyno Jet), i havent adapted it for torque readings yet,(next week Torque #s will be avail) but will show RWHP ,My completly stock Ex 6.0 made 300Hp at peak in 4th gear and 320Hp in 5th, it is an above ground dyno and i am adding to the front so crew cab long beds will beable to use the dyno , when it is all ready i will post and let you guys try to break it [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

I took the Ex to LACR and ran a 17.7 @ 81 mph, completly stock, so now the upgrades will begin!!

You dyno'd stock at 320 RWHP in 5th gear,
The motor only puts out 325. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif[/img][img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif[/img]
Where is the 18-20% drive train loss.
Also at 320 HP, you should be running in the 15's

Maybe you could help me out , what type of rwhp is needed for a fully loaded Ex with a full tank of fuel and a 235 lb driver at 3200 ft elevation and 90 degrees of heat ,to go 81 mph in the 1\4 mile, my guess is somewhere around 300+ at the tires, we Dyno around 30 cars a week , stock ls1 cars make over 300 at the wheels and are rated at 300 from the factory, maybe they are under rated from the factory, also there were several other v8 trucks(gas) at the track that were running 18+ sec in the 1\4
