Suspension Purchases

Just about ready to order shocks and rear sway bar.

I contacted SHOX and the Bilsteins were $70 a piece. The Hellwig is going for $150. Do these prices sound reasonable?

Also, is the front sway bar worth the money?
Any opinions?

Thanks.

Kevin

Re: Suspension Purchases

Yes it sounds like a reasonable price and yes I think the front A/S bar is worth it.

Re: Suspension Purchases

On 11/27/00 I paid $139.00 each for the Hellwigs and $62.45 each for Bilstein shocks for my X. Got them from ASI which is shox.com. Shipping was $60.

They transformed my X into something that really handles. Is the front bar worth it? Don't know. You could install the shocks and the rear bar and see how you like it.

they work great.ordered them from rickson trucks..$160 each delivered to door...didn't have to cut off links..perfect fit...

Re: Suspension Purchases

I went ahead and purchased the Bilsteins at $67 a piece and the Hellwig rear for $149.

Let you know how it goes when they're installed.
