Swaybar bushings

Which way should I go...OEM or Polyurethane?

Re: Swaybar bushings

oem lasts longer but may not be repaceable depending on where you are talking about. Poly is tighter and cheaper but tends to squeek

Re: Swaybar bushings

Went oem with mine and have been perfect...no noise! Also, couldn't beat the price of $9.03 from Ford.

Re: Swaybar bushings

Reviving an old post, but same question. Energy Suspension vs. Ford OEM. The Fords are $9 each, not sure about $ on E.S. but I'm guessing around $20 for both. Anyone try the E.S. bushings?

Re: Swaybar bushings

ES are polyurethane. Yes, they are more expensive. I think I paid about $30 for a kit for the fronts for an Expedition. It included new end links.

Re: Swaybar bushings

Use the stock bushings, the PU will expand and you end up with a clunk.

Re: Swaybar bushings

Thanks for the input. I'll stick with OEM.
