They Lied!!!

Lucky for me the my parking garage lied. They said that the maximum height was 6'8".

Well, I'm test driving the new EX right now and it cleared the hanging bar in the garage by a whole inch!!

That means as soon as I take off the roof rack crossbars I'll have enough room for 285s and F550 springs

Also, no idle knock and no obvious cackle either. (28 degrees here)

Re: They Lied!!!

Yeah - I hear you. With my roof rack off I've got about 1" of clearance to get in my garage. And, also think I can get 285's on The Beast too.

Re: They Lied!!!

utah,

yes, you should be able to put 285's on and still clear 6'8" without removing the luggage bar. That's what I had on mine before adding the leveling kit and 315's. Now I can't get into anything less than 7'1"....oh well, the view is nice from up here so I'm not too upset.

Re: They Lied!!!

I hope the Ex will be able to fit in the parking garages around here...My nav barely fits (about an inch or a little more clearnace), but then again I have 17 in wheels.

Re: They Lied!!!

I parked in a parking garage today at a mall and it was a looking close when I hit some speed bumps and drove under exit signs. I think I am going to stick with the 265's.I will get the BFG AT KO's when the stone's wear out.

Re: They Lied!!!

Mine has BFG 295's and I haven't hit anything in any of the Las Vegas parking garages (so far). It goes into my 82" high garage just fine with the roof racks.
