Re: for those of you that get good mileage, what is your code?
I don't know that my mileage is "great", but I've got a lifetime average of a little over 15 (16,000 miles) and that includes towing and tanks of just city driving. My code is NQW4.
My best tank was right at 19, and my worst was 10.7
Regards,
Dave

Re: for those of you that get good mileage, what is your code?
See sig
But I have 69,000 + miles and have averaged 14.5 mpg over the two years. I check every tank. This includes towing and many highway miles at 85 mph. If I run 50 ~ 60 mph I will get over 20 mph. All stock except for AMSOIL front to back. If I can beof any help send me an email

Re: for those of you that get good mileage, what is your code?
I have AXD1, and my stock mileage was 19 at 55-60, and about 17.5 at 75 in decent conditions. This was with the LL#8 injector in. Maybe a better code to look for is one before the introduction of the LL#8. I know there is an AXDO code, but I don't know anything about it. Maybe someone like Dennis Perry at TS could shed some light on this for you. Let us know what you turn up. Dale

Re: for those of you that get good mileage, what is your code?
My numbers are pretty close to Shamuex2000. I'll check the code later today and post. I took the kids to school yesterday and couldn't belive it was at 20.3 doing 60mph. It was consistent at 16.4 until
I did the Mods listed below. I belive it was very well worth it.

Re: for those of you that get good mileage, what is your code?
I noticed that my close to stock truck's best is between 38-50 mph, light on the pedal.I can easily do 22-23 mpg @ 50 mph on the hwy with a full tank. The on board comp. is allways right on the money.Who can only do 50 mph on the open road.I do avr. 13.5 combination driving if I don't beat on it. Re: for those of you that get good mileage, what is your code?
I have just under 11K miles on my X. Code is NQW3. I just did a 430 mile trip (I-85, speed 60-73MPH) and got 17.9 MPG. My typical mileage (to work and back daily) is between 15 and 16.
Staying under 2000 RPM helps the mileage substantially!

Re: for those of you that get good mileage, what is your code?
Here's some worthless trivia for you. All the EPA "mileage" numbers you see on those itty bitty cars are taken at 48mph for the highway rating. (so IF we had a sticker, I'd say we'd be at 22-23 mpg on the X "highway )
