Thoughts on best year (in 7.3 ) to get

OK two things here.

1. Just tried to put my Ex in the new garage. No go with the 7' door. The rook rack stopped me. If I let some air out of the tires it would fit.

2. So I think I have an "Ultimate" Ex. Its an '02. I have steering wheel controls, power and memory pedals, 2nd row buckets, 6-disc CD, auto-climate control, etc. But I do not have any type of VCP or DVD player or painted bumpers. So do you guys think its an ultimate or not? If so I should change my sig. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

The painted bumper, grille, and two tone seats were part of the "monochrome package" option for the Limited Ultimate and not part of the standard package.

At the very top of the info sheet that was attached to my passenger side window at the time of sale, it showed VIN #, standard and optional equipment, price, etc. At the very top of the page it said "LIMITED ULTIMATE". Not sure where else it would be, maybe check the VIN number code? I'm in Florida right now and the X is in Cali so I can't check the reg, etc. for you right now. Sorry about that!

Do you use the roof rack? If not try, removing the two cross bars. They usually end up scaring the roof anyways. I removed mine two weeks after we picked up the X in '02 and the roof was already showing scratches from the poor design.
