Tie rod end replacement ?s

The time has come to replace the tie rod ends and was just wondering how big a job this would be or should i just let a shop do it. I know it will need to be realigned afterwards. I tried to search for a write up on this but it wouldn't let me for some reason. Oh yeah its a 2001 excursion 2wd.

You can do it if you are handy. Just make sure to do each one at a time (4-total) and be sure not to move the wheels when the end is not connected. I would also suggest getting a good remover and not a pickle fork or using the beat on it until it comes apart method. They all work but the clamp/puller is much more graceful and won't irritate the neighbors.
