Trailer Brake Controller Connector

I posted in an earlier thread that I had found in my Glove box a pigtail for connecting a Trailer Brake Controller. The instructions say to remove the access panel that covers that fuses and look for the mating connector near the front of the dash. I searched and searched, but I couldn't find it anywhere. I even used both hands and a flashlight! :-)

What I *did* eventually do was call a different dealer, who better guided me to the treasure. At least on my truck the connector is wedged/permanently fixed right up beside the radio. It was difficult to get the mating connector maneuvered into the right spot, but once I did I just pushed it together with a comforting 'snap'.

Maybe everybody who needs this info already knows this, but I thought I'd offer it in case it was useful to someone else.

Re: Trailer Brake Controller Connector

I had the same problem. It is way the @#** up there and permanently fixed. Another one of Ford's Better Ideas?
